PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air conditioning equipment capable of elongating a yearly free cooling operation time. SOLUTION: This cold medium refrigerating/freezing equipment comprises a heat storage water tank for storing cold water, a cooling water circulation passage comprising a group of freezers, a cooling tower and a pump, a cooling water circulation passage for free cooling, comprising a cooling tower and a pump, a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the cooling water in the cooling water circulation passage and the water in the heat storage water tank, a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the cooling water in the cooling water circulation passage for free cooling and the water in the heat storage water tank, a cooling circuit for free cooling, comprising a cooling tower and a pump, and connected with a going-way of the cooling water circulation passage for free cooling to cool the cooling water of the cooling water circulation passage for free cooling, a switching mechanism disposed between the cooling water circulation passage for free cooling and the cooling circuit for free cooling, and connecting the cooling water circulation passage for free cooling and the cooling circuit for free cooling in series, and a control device for controlling the switching of the switching mechanism.
