PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buff polishing method using a buff body for coating finishing polishing or rough finishing polishing to suppress generation of buff marks by suppressing heat generation of a polishing surface. SOLUTION: In this buff body for polishing for polishing a surface of an object to be polished by bringing a polishing surface of a disc body into contact with the surface of the object by rotating the disc body, the disc body has a shape of the polishing surface formed by cutting a part of a region of 2 to 40% of a radius from an outer periphery of the disc toward a center part. The polishing surface of the disc body is made of a material chosen from napped cloth, wool, cotton, felt, flannel cloth, nonwoven fabric, towel cloth and sponge. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
