PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pulse frequency modulation which enables automatic adjustment of operation time and which is constituted that should improve the energy conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: A pulse frequency modulation circuit for power converter control comprises an output voltage comparing circuit for receiving a feedback voltage proportional to the output of a power converter and for comparing the feedback voltage with a reference voltage; a pulse generation circuit for receiving a reference signal and outputting a pulse signal, when an enable time of the pulse signal is determined by calculating the number of logic state change times of a comparison signal within a preset time period, and the comparison signal is in a first logic state; and a switching circuit which is connected to the pulse generation circuit, the output voltage comparing circuit, and the power converter and which transmits the pulse signal from the pulse generation circuit to the power converter, when the comparison signal is the first logic signal.
