PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce streaming data based on a sampling frequency of the streaming data without providing hardware or software that is a synchronous code adding means or a synchronous code detecting means. SOLUTION: A streaming data transmitting apparatus performs OFDM on streaming data by including the steps of determining the number of IDFT sampling points such that an effective symbol length becomes a specific ratio in a sampling term, and of performing IDFT; and adding a guard interval such that an OFDM symbol length becomes equal with the sampling term of the streaming data.
