PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image spatial resolution magnifying apparatus and a moving image spatial resolution magnifying program in which a spatial high frequency component in a moving region on a moving image frame sequence lost by an integration effect in a storage type imaging device is effectively compensated and natural spatial resolution magnification by a contrast sensitivity function relating to human sight characteristics can be performed. SOLUTION: A moving image spatial resolution magnifying apparatus includes a spatial resolution magnified image sequence generating means 11 for generating a spatial resolution magnified image sequence by magnifying the spatial resolution of a moving image frame sequence äF(t)} and a corrected image sequence generating means 12 for generating a corrected image sequence äSU<SP>O</SP>(t)} by correcting, based on the contrast sensitivity function, the pixel value of each n-th order wavelet decomposition component of the spatial resolution magnified image sequence and reconstituting each corrected n-th order wavelet decomposition component after the correction, wherein the spatial resolution magnified image sequence generating means 11 includes a high frequency component compensation means 111 for compensating for the high frequency component of a high-speed moving region on the basis of the high frequency component of a low-speed moving region in the moving image frame sequence äF(t)}.
