PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing a secret leakage which allows moving of an information device and data only within a limited range, and prevents missing of the information device or leakage of secret information to the outside in case of theft. SOLUTION: The system includes a local PHS base station 1 having a specified service area, a local PHS terminal 2b capable of communicating in radio with the local PHS base station 1, and a personal computer 6 which is connected by signal to the local PHS terminal 2b and contains a leakage preventing software 7. The local PHS terminal 2b includes service-area/out-of-service-area decision part 3 which judges whether it is within the service area of the local PHS base station 1, an authentication part 4 which authenticates the leakage preventing software 7 for the personal computer 6 only when the decision results of the service-area/out-of-service-area decision part 3 indicates service-area, and a nonvolatile memory part 9 in which data are stored.
