PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens with an image stabilization function that has a mechanism for vibration compensation, and can reduce the whole device size and obtain an excellent image during the vibration compensation. SOLUTION: The zoom lens includes, in order from object to image sides, a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, and a rear lens group having a lens group having positive refractive power, the rear group including a lens unit IS having negative positive power and movable in a direction having a component perpendicular to the optical axis so as to displace the imaging position, and a lens unit R_IS having positive refractive power and arranged on the image side of the lens unit IS.
