PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent cleaning member having a prescribed destaticizing effect by itself, then, completely dispensing with the use of a destaticizing mechanism. SOLUTION: Regarding the cleaning member for scraping residual toner by destaticizing the surface of a rotating image carrier in slide contact with the image carrier, a conductive resin film 2 set so as to charge a positive polarity charge by friction with the image carrier is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a base body 1 thereof.
