PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein immobilized magnetic particle characterized by having low nonspecific adsorbability, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In a magnetic particle having a 2,3-dihydroxypropyl group, to which a protein to be bonded specifically to an Fc domain of immunoglobulin G is immobilized, or in a magnetic particle having a hydroxyl group originated in the 2,3-dihydroxypropyl group, to which a protein to be bonded specifically to the Fc domain of immunoglobulin G is immobilized, the protein is protein A, protein G, or a derivative from at least either of them.
