PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that can positively improve, by a comparatively simple installation structure, scattering, sticking, or the like which is a problem in fusion-treating radioactive miscellaneous solid waste by a rotary hearth type plasma fusion treating apparatus and transferring a melt to a receiving container. SOLUTION: This melt discharge mechanism is formed of a combination of a melt discharge port provided at a bottom part of the rotary hearth type plasma fusion treating apparatus for fusion-treating radioactive miscellaneous solid waste, to transfer the melt to the receiving container, a cylindrical ceramic guide interposed between the melt discharge port and the receiving container, and a plurality of resistance heating heaters arranged around the ceramic guide.
