PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To run at a target vehicle speed in response to an operation amount of a running pedal. SOLUTION: This prime mover rotational speed control device is equipped with: a hydraulic pump 11 driven by a prime mover 10; a hydraulic motor 5 for running driven by hydraulic oil from the hydraulic pump 11; an operation member 22 for inputting a running command in response to the operation amount; a flow control means 12 for controlling the flow of hydraulic oil from the hydraulic pump 11 to the hydraulic motor 5 in response to the operation amount of the operation member 22; a rotational speed control means 40 for controlling the rotational speed of the prime mover 10 to a target rotational speed N in response to the operation amount of the operation member 22; a vehicle speed detecting means 42 for detecting a vehicle speed v; a vehicle speed calculating means 502 for calculating a target vehicle speed va in response to the operation amount of the operation member 22; and a correcting means 40 for correcting a target rotational speed Nt based on the vehicle speed v detected by the vehicle speed detecting means 42 and the target speed va calculated by the vehicle speed calculating means 502.
