METHOD FOR SELECTING BROADCAST CHANNEL AND BROADCAST RECEIVER CAPABLE OF IMPLEMENTING THE SAME

A method for selecting a broadcast channel and a broadcast receiving terminal capable of implementing the same are provided to enable a user of a mobile terminal to watch or record a first channel broadcast program if the reception of the first channel broadcast program is good even when the user is watching a second channel broadcast program due to the poor receive sensitivity of the first channel broadcast program. A method for selecting a broadcast channel comprises the following steps of: outputting a first channel broadcast program(S21); setting a first channel to a preferential channel(S22); changing the broadcast receiving channel of a mobile terminal from the first channel to a second channel(S23,S24); displaying an indication of asking whether to return to the first channel when the receive sensitivity of the first channel is more than a predetermined level(S25); and returning to the first channel to enabling the user to watch the first channel broadcast program preferentially(S26,S27).
