<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall terminal ventilation opening capable of reducing intrusion of wind and rain, and rainwater dripping noise and ventilation resistance at a hood portion. <P>SOLUTION: This external wall terminal ventilation opening comprises the hood portion 4 provided with upper and lower openings 3 with the shape surrounding a front face of a base portion 2 disposed at an outer wall surface side at an outer part of a cylindrical portion 1, and a rectifying vane 5 disposed inside of the hood portion 4. The rectifying vane 5 has the shape lowered approximately in the gentle arcuate shape from an upper end portion 6 of the base portion 2 toward a front inner face of the hood portion 4, in a state that a lower end portion 8 is positioned above a central line 9 of the cylindrical portion 1, and a first clearance 10 is formed between the lower end portion and an inner wall 7 of the hood portion 4, thus the intrusion of wind and rain, rainwater dripping noise and ventilation resistance at the hood portion 4 can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
