<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable laminated piezoelectric actuator which has a thin shape and small capacity and a small number of components even if it has a large aspect ratio. <P>SOLUTION: External electrodes 14a to 16a and external electrodes 14b to 16b are arranged on both sides of laminated units 11 to 13. Clamps 17 and 18 are arranged on outer sides, and they bias compression stress on the laminated units 11 to 13. The clamps 17 and 18 are a pair of structures having hook structures at ends and a plurality of through holes are formed in core parts since they have flexibility. The through holes have circular or elliptic shapes having long axes in a direction orthogonal to a direction of long sides of the clamps 17 and 18. A size of compression stress biased to the laminated actuator can be adjusted by changing the sizes and the number of the through holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
