HEAT RETAINING TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sophisticated heat retaining tank storing a liquid heating medium and having high heat insulating performance and excellent discharge capacity of hot water.

SOLUTION: The heat retaining tank 1 is provided with a storage part 5 storing the liquid heating medium in the inner side and having a heat insulating structure; an inflow port 6 for flowing in the liquid heating medium to inside of the storage part 5; an outflow port 7 for flowing out the liquid heating medium inside the storage part 5 to outside of the storage part 5; and partition walls 8 arranged between the inflow port 6 and the outflow port 7 inside the storage part 5 and partitioning the storage part 5 into a plurality of portions to form a flow passage of the liquid heating medium having an approximately fixed flow passage cross section inside the storage part 5. This configuration suppresses a forcible convection generated by cold water flowing in from the inflow port 6 and hot water stored inside the heat retaining tank 1 and smoothly pushes out the hot water inside the storage part 5. As a result, discharge efficiency of the stored hot water can be enhanced.
