PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion control system, and an operation confirmation method for a motion program in the motion control system, capable of stopping an operation in an optional point in the midway of moving in one motion command, and capable of stopping surely the moving at the point to stop the moving, not via operation of a worker. SOLUTION: A motion controller 10 is provided with a segment buffer 112, a program analytical processing part 14, an HMI processing part 15, a break point setting processing part 16, and a motion control processing part 12, and a display 17a has a velocity waveform display screen 171 and a locus display screen 172 for displaying a program content of a motion program 111, and sets the break point in display on the screens.
