PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosynthesis generation apparatus which is formed by combining a percutaneous treatment device with a semiconductor layer as a constitution element and a white illumination assembly so as to be usable for both a plant and an animal. SOLUTION: The semiconductor layer comprises a p-type or n-type semiconductor layer or a both type mixed layer. The surface of the semiconductor layer is wrapped up in an insulation layer if necessary. A reflection member layer is laminated on the semiconductor layer if necessary. A percutaneous treatment device equipped with a semiconductor layer constituted in such a manner and a white illumination assembly are combined to constitute the photosynthesis generation apparatus. Thus a lot of effects are obtained by irradiating a plant or an animal with the white illumination lamp, such as effects of growth quickening function, an oxidation prevention function, a retaining period prolongation function, etc., especially increasing sweetness of fruits for a plant. For an animal, a lot of treatment effects such as an autonomic nerve enhancing function, a function to expand/contract a muscle for activation to improve blood flow, a function to improve a sprain, a bruise, lumbago, etc. are obtained.
