PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying apparatus capable of being attached to an opening part for window attachment without working a wall surface on the side of a window, improving an appearance especially when installed to the window provided with a curtain, and being attached without interfering with the curtain or the like. SOLUTION: An attaching mechanism 3 is provided to both ends of a clothes drying bar 1. For the attaching mechanism 3, a turning arm part 8 is pivoted so as to be freely turned to be raised and laid in a vertical direction to a window side attaching part 7 attached to the side part inner surface 40A of an opening 40 for window attachment or the vertical frame part 4A of a window frame 4. The turning arm part 8 is composed of a horizontally provided arm part 8A connected to the pivoting part of the window side attaching part 7 and a raised arm part 8B connected to the outer side end of the horizontally provided arm part 8A and disposed on the outer side of the curtain 9 suspended from a curtain rail 5.
