PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of drawing the leading end of a broken roll paper out of a paper retainer. SOLUTION: The roll paper ejector includes a shaft H of a roll paper D, a paper feed lever A and a cover C which has a projection M for controlling rotation of the roll paper D interlocked with a lever B. Natural traction with the shaft H and a paper core F is utilized for rotation of the roll paper D, and the rotation of the roll paper D is controlled by the cover C during reversion of the shaft H. By pushing down the paper feed lever A to the front, the end of the roll paper D is pulled out by about 2 cm, and the roll paper D is set in a state more convenient for use. If the lever A is released from the state, pull back force of a spring G is added and the lever A is ready for the next use. The roll paper D is controlled from reversing by action of the lever B while the lever A returns, only forwarding rotation can be smoothly made by making space between the cover C and the roll paper D when the lever A is lowered to the front.
