PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil which can cut a food material to a predetermined length, transfer the food material to another container, or can mash the food material by changing the direction of applying a force. SOLUTION: This cooking utensil 1a is formed by attaching an approximately spherical pressing section 3 and a bowl-form scooping section 4 on the distal end of a main body 2 having an approximately V shape formed by handles 2a and 2b consisting of an elastic member of which the proximal end sections 14 are connected. For the scooping section 4, a projection body 5 is installed on the side surface in a vicinity of an opening section 4a facing the pressing section 3, and a discharging port 4b is formed on the bottom surface.
