PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic projection method and a holographic projection apparatus for displaying an image with appropriate brightness and saving energy with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A plurality of image data are converted into respective space frequency information by Fourier transform, the respective space frequency information are given to a plurality of corresponding information display means, the space frequency information corresponding to the plurality of image data is displayed on the plurality of information display means, the plurality of information display means are irradiated with light from respective corresponding plurality of light sources, the space frequency information displayed with the plurality of information display means is projected by diffracted light, and a plurality of images are synthesized on a projection face.
