<p>The induction coil unit ( 1 ) for heating a sleeve section ( 3 ) of a tool holder ( 5 ) holding the shaft ( 13 ) of a rotation tool in a receiver opening ( 11 ) in press fit comprises two coil units ( 21, 23 ), whose distance can be changed selectively through at least one slanted surface cam assembly ( 43 ). A magnetic flux concentrator assembly ( 33 ) with several concentrator elements ( 55 ) distributed in circumferential direction is associated with the coil unit ( 21 ) adjacent to the free end ( 15 ) of the sleeve section ( 3 ). The width of a pass through opening ( 57 ) defined by the concentrator elements ( 55 ) for the tool shaft ( 13 ) is also changeable through a control cam ( 69 ), to which the concentrator elements ( 55 ) are coupled through a slanted surface cam assembly ( 73 ). The two slanted surface cam assemblies ( 43, 73 ) are coupled amongst each other in a useful manner in order to simplify the operation of the unit ( 1 ).</p> |
