PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media content reproduction system in which media contents are reproduced while combining parts thereof so as to also listen to an announcement while enjoying desired media contents while moving on public transport. SOLUTION: A portable media content reproduction system comprises: a storage means C7 for storing media contents constituted of a plurality of divided parts constituting media contents of one content item; an acquisition means C5 for acquiring inter-station required time information indicating a required time between stations when public transport is utilized to move from a predetermined station to the next station; an editing means C12 for editing parts of the media contents stored in the storage means in accordance with the inter-station required time information; a detection means C10 for detecting the start of movement on the utilized public transport; and a reproduction means C13 for repdoducing the media content parts edited by the editing means C12 in the case that the start of movement on the public transport is detected.
