PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fitting device capable of press-fitting a plurality of divided winding portions into a frame so that their height of the end surfaces may be aligned. SOLUTION: The press fitting device 1 press-fits the plurality of divided winding portions 11 into the winding frame 12. The divided winding portions 11 are placed on the winding frame 12 in a state where they are circularly disposed, and the winding frame 12 is disposed on a palette 28. The press fitting device 1 includes the pallet 28; a pressing portion 23 having a pressing reference surface 53A; a work setting portion 24; a frame setting portion 25; a force applying portion 40 provided on the work setting portion 24 and for applying force to a divided wiring portion 11 toward the pressing reference surface 53A of the pressing portion 23; a work pressing mechanism 27 for moving the frame setting portion 25 toward the pressing portion 23 to separate the winding frame 12 away from the pallet 28 and allow the winding frame 12 to come close to the pressing reference surface 53A of the pressing portion 23, thereby fit-pressing the divided winding portion 11 into the winding frame 12; and a work lifting up/down mechanism 26 for lifting up/down the work setting portion 24.
