PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-distortion compensation device capable of preventing characteristic deterioration caused by over-compensation, and its transmission function determination method. SOLUTION: The value of back-off satisfying specifications is calculated beforehand, and an error detector 10 does not use data for the generation of the coefficient of the transmission function of a pre-distortion generator 1 when input power to a power amplifier 6 exceeds a value of required back-off.
