PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent device capable of obtaining a long-life device in the method with an organic layer formed by a wet deposition method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent device having a first electrode, an organic layer formed by a wet deposition method, and a second electrode in this order, after the first electrode and the organic layer are formed, a distance between a surface of the organic layer and a heating means for heating the organic layer is to be 5 cm or less and a heating process only from a surface side of the organic layer is included.
