PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve a marginal acceleration of a magnetic head by preventing a supporting point of a load beam from moving in the orthogonal direction to a surface of a disk as much as possible when a shock is applied. SOLUTION: A magnetic head suspension whose supporting section has a pair of supporting pieces extending to a tip end from both sides of the width direction and a concave part opening to the tip end separated by a pair of the supporting pieces comprises an elastically deformable elastic plate whose one end and the other end in the width direction of the magnetic head suspension are connected to the pair of the supporting pieces. A member for forming the load beam is connected to the elastic plate so that the elastic plate forms a load bending section. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
