DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING PASS THROUGH INTERSECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of the timing of the information notice by enabling a driver to vary timing of information notice in accordance with an intersecting angle in entering an intersection. SOLUTION: A vehicle speed and a vehicle position are associated with each other to be stored in a travelling history storage unit 50. A checking position at which a driver should check the surroundings in entering the intersection is determined on the basis of information stored in the storage unit 50. An intersecting angle between a travelling road on which its own vehicle travels and an intersecting road intersecting with the travelling road through the intersection is determined. The timing of the information notice for calling a driver's attention to check the surroundings for entering the intersection is decided as information notice timing on the basis of the determined checking position and the determined intersecting angle.
