PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental casting alloy containing≥40% of Au and Ag in total as a base alloy, the alloy enabling the occurrence of cavities to be suppressed even when not containing Zn and enabling a degradation in the mechanical characteristics of a prosthesis material to be prevented, particularly, a dental casting alloy capable of remarkably exhibiting the above actions even if repeated casting is performed. SOLUTION: The dental casting alloy contains≥40%, by mass, of Au and Ag in total. The alloy does not contain Zn, but contains≤10% (not including 0%) of Ga. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
