PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benzoxazine resin composition that is excellent in flame retardancy and is excellent in handleability when a prepreg is made using the resin composition. SOLUTION: A resin composition for a fiber-reinforced composite material composition comprises a thermosetting resin which is liquid at a temperature of 25°C, a benzoxazine resin which is solid at a temperature of 25°C and a curing catalyst and is produced by dispersing the benzoxazine resin in the form of particles in the resin composition at a temperature of 25°C.
