PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator hall device on which a fireproof compartment plate can be firmly and easily mounted without depending on welding work, to obtain desired fireproofing performance. SOLUTION: The elevator hall device is mounted in an opening 11 formed in a building body 12 partitioning an elevator shaft from each floor hall with a jamb frame 13 on the inner periphery of the opening 11. The jamb frame 13 consists of an inner peripheral face portion 13a along the inner peripheral face of the opening 11, a front edge portion 13b formed by bending the hall-side end of the inner peripheral face portion 13a to the side of the building body 12, and a rear edge portion 13c formed by bending the shaft side end of the inner peripheral face portion 13a almost perpendicularly to the outer side of the opening portion 11. At a plurality of positions on the rear edge portion 13c, tongue portions 13d are formed in a range from the side edge of the rear edge portion 13c to a bent portion of the inner peripheral face portion. The tongue portions 13d are each bent at its base end 13e at a predetermined angle. The fireproof compartment plate 15 is mounted between the face on the shaft side of the building body 12 and the face on the counter hall door side of the rear edge portion 13c along the tongue portions 13d and screwed thereto into one unit.
