PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a problem in which print processing is wrongly stopped due to erroneous determination of a determining portion determining the presence of double feed, in an image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming device includes a double feed detecting sensor DD, and a control portion 100. The double feed detecting sensor DD judges whether a double feed state wherein two or more sheets of papers are superimposed and carried is occurred or not in a paper carrying passage before the print processing. The control portion 100 carries out control for stopping the print processing when the double feed state occurs by referring to the result of the judgement. The control portion 100 refers to the result of the determination executed before the first print processing, when double-sided print processing including the first printing processing for printing on a first surface of the paper and second printing processing for printing on a second surface of the paper is carried.
