PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the output of an electric motor to improve quietness when a vehicle speed is low in the electric motor output control device of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the electric motor output control device of the vehicle, when the vehicle speed obtained by a vehicle speed obtaining means (step 408) is the speed that a driver can identify an operating noise of the electric motor, a motor driving control means (steps 402-410 and 314) reduces the output of the electric motor. Therefore, when the vehicle speed is the speed that the driver can identify the operating noise of the electric motor, quietness can be improved by appropriately and sufficiently reducing the number of rotations (output) of the electric motor.
