PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eject a liquid agent for relaxing deformation of a medium by an amount corresponding to the ejection amount of liquid drops for forming an image using a smaller number of nozzles than that used for forming an image. SOLUTION: The liquid ejector comprises a section for ejecting a first liquid drop to a medium, and a section for ejecting a second liquid drop in order to relax deformation of the medium caused by the first liquid drop wherein the second liquid drop is larger than the largest droplet of the first liquid.
