PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can prevent damage to a gate actuator by preventing the actuator from heating more than necessary by prohibiting the actuator from being excessively operated in a case where game balls are repeatedly inserted or put out due to an abnormal operation by a player or the occurrence of some troubles. SOLUTION: If an insertion solenoid operation prohibition flag 113u is on (S151:Yes), there is a danger that insertion solenoids 534a to 534c heat more than necessary as the result of continuation of operation more than necessary. Consequently, in such case, the game machine makes an announcement to that effect to a player by displaying "insertion unit is cooling down" on a liquid crystal display unit 81 (S152). Furthermore, the game machine reports that currently game balls cannot be inserted by turning off a bet LED 35a (S153).
