PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a conventional electric reel has only a hoisting function and a line is easily removed from a spool and tends to be caught in a gear, and it is difficult to use the electric reel, because the position of a switch is located on the outside or at the rear of the center with two right-handed and left-handed patterns, and the structureis one for water to tend to penetrate a motor, in a structure with a battery having a function of only power of the body, and so on. SOLUTION: The electric reel has a structure capable of performing lowering or hoisting (luring function) of the fishing line with the on, off and on switch. Since the spool is designed at the tip of the fishing rod body, there is a structure without winding the line into the gear. A wire can be used as a material for transmitting the power from the motor by developing a motor box and an angle can freely be changed by utilizing characteristics of the wire to transmit the power. Furthermore, a space for mounting the switch can be ensured, and operation can be performed even by either the left-handed or the right-handed position of the hand of a user by designing the switch at the front of the body.
