An image forming device (1) comprises a fixing unit (10) which includes a heat source (13) and fixes an image onto a print media, a pressurizing section (22) for placing and pressing a film (25) made of at least one layer onto the image forming surface of the print media (14) on which an image is fixed, and a glossing unit (21) having a film supply section for supplying the film (25) to the pressurizing section (22). The glossing unit (21) is so disposed that at least parts of the pressurizing section and the film supply section receive the heat flowing out from the fixing unit (10).
