The invention relates to encapsulated rubber additives in the form of microcapsules having a polymer capsule wall and a core which comprises at least one rubber additive. The invention likewise relates to a method for the production of microcapsules of this type. The microcapsules according to the invention are used during vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubbers.
