<p>A device for fixing a valve cotter easily and surely to a spring retainer. A valve cotter fixing device comprises a means for supplying a spring retainer such that a retainer hole opens with its diameter reducing downward, a means for supplying cotter pieces sequentially, a receiving means provided to enter/exit the retainer hole freely, having a substantially vertical guide face for guiding to a first specified position a first cotter piece supplied together with the inner side face of the retainer hole gravitationally, and having a distal end face located above the guide face and receiving a second cotter piece supplied the next and guided to a second specified position gravitationally, and a means for moving the receiving means. The receiving means can receive the second cotter piece on the distal end face by making the first cotter piece guided to the first specified position guide the second cotter piece.</p> |
