<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing device capable of instantly stopping a cutting means when a cover body covering a housing part of a tape cassette is opened at the time of cutting a longitudinal tape. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal on a cutter drive circuit 75 side of a wire 111 out of the two wires which connect the cutter drive circuit 75 to a cutter motor 55 is connected to another terminal on the B side of a cover switch 400 of normal A selection composed of a mechanical switch with the publicly known two contact points. The terminal on the cutter motor 55 side of the wire 111 is connected to a common terminal (the terminal on the C side) of the cover switch 400. Further, the terminal of the cutter motor 55 to which other wire 112 out of the two wires for connecting the cutter drive circuit 75 to the cutter motor 55 is connected to the terminal on the A side of the cover switch 400 of the normal A selection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
