<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of maintaining the adhesive strength between an optical filter and a holder. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has: a substrate 10 on which an image pickup device 20 is mounted; and the holder 30 that shields unneeded light other than that in an optical path, holds first and second lenses 71, 72 and the optical filter 40 on the optical path, and is fixed onto the substrate 10 so that the image pickup device 20 is arranged on the optical path.
