<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple computer initialization system for flexibly coping with difference in a hardware configuration and a software configuration of a computer. <P>SOLUTION: By means of an initialization data generation device 1 having a task database 11 with specified operation contents for initializing the computer in association with task IDs and an initialization database 12 storing initialization data contents for initializing the computer in association with initialization data IDs, a computer ID 8 and operation data 9 of an initialization target computer 3 are inputted, and based on a task ID specified by the task data, a task sequence and an initialization data ID of a software component to be mounted to the initialization target computer by the task corresponding to the task ID, the task contents and initialization data contents are read in the task sequence meeting the task data from the task database and the initialization database for generating the initialization data.
