<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a privileged e-mail system whereby a privilege attribute (50) for a privilege e-mail is created containing a list of privileged recipients (52) that may access the e-mail. <P>SOLUTION: A profile further includes particular access rights (54) for each of the recipients defining what each recipient may do with respect to the privileged e-mail.
