<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing the draft feeling and, even if foreign matter is caught in a lower blow-off opening, taking out the foreign matter by opening and closing a blow-off opening shutter in a stop of operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an upper blow-off opening 22a, a lower blow-off opening 22b, a shutter 30 for opening/closing the lower blow-off opening 22b and a shutter driving section 31 for driving the shutter 30.
