PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of processing various photographing images in conformity to the desire of a user. SOLUTION: The image processing system is characterized in that: photographing information on the photographing image is acquired together with the photographing image which is obtained by photographing a subject; the subject in the photographing image is specified and identified by using the photographing information; three-dimensional structure data of the identified subject is read from a database to generate the simulated image of the subject with resolution higher than that of the photographing image, based on the read three-dimensional structure data of the subject; a magnified image is generated by magnifying the photographing image; the ratio is determined based on the magnification ratio among the ratios which are set to allow the ratio of a simulated image to be enlarged as the magnification ratio of the photographing image is enlarged; and weighted average is performed between the pixel value of the magnified image and the pixel value of the simulated image, based on the determined ratio, and then, the magnified image is composited with the simulated image.
