PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthesizing method which allows the selective synthesis in a short time of fine crystals of a polymer complex having micro pores that are arranged with a three-dimensional regularity. SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing a polymer complex crystal comprises mixing (1) a metal solution with (2) a ligand solution into a single phase, to synthesize micro crystals of a polymer complex, wherein a zinc (II) halide is mixed with a solvent A for dissolving the zinc halide, to give the metal solution (1); a tridentate ligand having three coordination sites capable of coordinating with the zinc in the zinc halide is mixed with a solvent B for dissolving the tridentate ligand, to give the ligand solution (2); the tridentate ligand coordinates with the zinc, to form a three-dimensional network, within which micro pores are arranged with a three-dimensional regularity; and the polymer complex has the three-dimensional network and the micro pores.
