摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas appliance monitoring apparatus for detecting a start of an operation in a gas appliance without receiving a signal from a gas appliance controller, and determining an abnormality by use of the information when the gas appliance is ignited. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a flow rate measuring means 17 for measuring a gas flow rate; a gas interrupting valve 2c for interrupting a gas flow path when the abnormality occurs; an information storage means 10b for storing various information based on measurement results from the flow rate measurement means 17; a wireless module 11 for transmitting and receiving the information to/from a plurality of other parties; and a communication switching means 10c for switching a communication frequency bands corresponding to the other parties. The wireless module 11 composes a control circuit board 10 in cooperation with the flow rate measuring means 17, is accommodated within a gas meter 2, has at least the communication frequency band with a base station 14 and the communication frequency bands with a plurality of the gas appliances, transmits appliance information as an operation start signal detected by an appliance detecting means 22 in the gas appliance by use of an appliance wireless module 11d, and detects the number of abnormal ignitions in each appliance based on the information.
