PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent spraying which occurs at a heat transfer fin part in an air heat exchanger of an indoor unit or the like for an air conditioner. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises heat transfer tubes 12a and heat transfer fins 12b juxtaposed in large numbers in a state of crossing the heat transfer tubes 12a. The front edge parts of the heat transfer fins 12b are extended to straighten an inflow air current, and heat insulating parts 21 are provided between the extended parts 12c, 12d and the original fins to eliminate non-uniformity of temperature and humidity to thereby prevent the occurrence of spraying.
