PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a lowered transparency and reproduce a lost smoothness, by removing crystalline substances occurred on the surface of a wear resistant film owing to the heat treatment, in a method of manufacturing a coordinate input panel. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a coordinate input panel includes forming a surface resistor film on a glass substrate and forming a wear resistant film on the surface resistor film, and is characterized by treating the surface of the wear resistant film with a fatty acid ester.
