PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoist crane device having the function of diagnosing the wear amount on a gear for transmitting the driving force from a motor. SOLUTION: In the hoist crane device, a hoist crane comprises a motor 1, a drive control device 8 for performing the drive control of the motor, a rotational angle detector 11 connected to a rotary shaft of the motor, a current sensor 13 for measuring the current running in the motor, and a wear diagnosis device 12 for calculating the diagnosis value of the wear state from the rotational angle of the rotary shaft and the current running in the motor. In particular, the drive control device executes the operation for inspection including the start-stop or the reverse drive by the motor, and the wear diagnosis device diagnoses the wear state based on the rotational angle of the rotary shaft to be measured from the start of the rotation before the current running in the motor rises by the engagement of the gear.
